Laboratory services
Routine bloodwork, panels and screenings ordered by your provider, at negotiated member rates through participating laboratories.
Diagnostic imaging
Imaging gives your doctor a clear picture of what's happening so they can diagnose and treat accurately. Participating facilities commonly provide:
- X-rays (radiography)
- Ultrasound
- CT (computed tomography) scans
- MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans
Imaging helps identify a wide range of concerns — broken bones, certain cancers, heart conditions, blood clots and gastrointestinal issues among them.

Questions about labs & imaging
Does One Plus include laboratory and diagnostic services?
Yes. One Plus memberships may include access to discounted or specified member rates for eligible laboratory and diagnostic services through participating providers.
Depending on the membership, these may include certain laboratory tests, imaging services and diagnostic procedures. Members should verify the provider, service and applicable member rate before receiving care.
What imaging services are available?
Participating facilities commonly provide X-rays (radiography), ultrasound, CT scans and MRI scans. Availability varies by facility and location.
Why are labs and imaging so expensive without insurance?
Standard self-pay prices for laboratory testing and imaging can be several times what a negotiated rate costs — and prices for the same test vary widely between facilities.
Using a participating provider at a negotiated member rate is one way to make the cost more predictable. Always confirm the applicable rate before your appointment.
Do I need a doctor's order for lab work or imaging?
Laboratory tests and imaging studies generally require an order from a healthcare provider. Your participating primary care physician or specialist can provide one when it's appropriate for your care.
